Welcome to the Liberation Calendar!

We are thrilled to bring you the 2025 Liberation Calendar, in partnership with the African American Policy Forum. The Liberation Calendar will guide you through an intentional Black History Month practice. Each day, you’ll receive an email with the day’s suggested practices, opportunities for reflection, and calls to action.

Throughout February, the practices will engage with the theme of the day: Restoring, Grounding, Mourning, Resisting, Rejoicing, Imagining, and Connecting. Our hope is that by the end of the month, you will feel more grounded in your connection to your family, friends, history, and culture.

We’ll also highlight the on-going fight for Black history, Black-authored books, and Black knowledge as we defend the freedom to learn and our civil rights legacy. As Black people, our path forward—toward justice, liberation, and self-determination—begins with care: for ourselves, for each other, and for our collective history.

So, please get out your journal, find a candle to bring light to our journey together, and sign up for Liberation Calendar today!
